Jerry Lacy Sr
Jerry Lacy Sr, a luminary in the world of men's fashion, embarked on his illustrious career while pursuing higher education at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. His initial foray into the realm of menswear began at the renowned Buckhead Men Shop, where Jerry immersed himself in the art of tailoring and cultivated a passion for the finer nuances of men's apparel.
Jerry's journey through the industry led him to prominent establishments, each contributing to the rich tapestry of his expertise. His tenure at Cluett Peabody & Company, notably The Arrow Shirt Company, provided him with a foundation in quality craftsmanship and an appreciation for classic menswear. Subsequent experiences at Jantzen Sportswear Company, Lord Jeff Knitting Mills Company, and Tee Top Off California exposed him to diverse facets of the industry, from sportswear to knitwear and beyond, during production for major stores.
In 1962, Jerry's trajectory took a significant turn when he ventured into the vibrant landscape of the America's Mart. His tenure there marked the inception of his own venture, JFL Corp, where he seamlessly blended his acquired knowledge and experiences to create a business that resonated with discerning clients. Since its inception, JFL Corp has been synonymous with impeccable style, timeless elegance, and a commitment to exceeding the expectations of its clientele.
